On December 9, 2017, my life – my entire reality – changed forever when my beloved husband disclosed that he had a long term affair. This blog follows the tales of my journey onward since that initial disclosure, including after DDay #2 when it became abundantly clear that there was far more than just one affair at issue, and that my husband was a sex addict who acted out with physical and emotional affairs, porn, masturbation, pic collecting, sexting, voyeurism, and the use of dating/ hook-up sites. Surprisingly, with all that out in the open, the path forward – together – became more clear.

I created this blog both as a pathway to heal myself and, hopefully, on the chance that someone else might benefit from my perspective on my experiences. I am not a therapist or a mental health professional. Ideas and beliefs expressed herein are unique to my journey and my family and are not necessarily right for everyone. Respectful discourse and debate is welcome in the comment sections for both old and new posts. Trolls will be blocked.
